How to create a news post |
Share announcements, updates, and important news directly with your members through the app. You can control who sees each post and preview it before publishing.
Steps to create and publish a news post
- Go to the admin portal: app.fortisia.com
- Click Create a News Post.
- Select New Article.
- Give your post a title.
- Add a cover image or cover video — this is required before you can publish.
- Add a short description and, if needed, choose who the author is.
- Write your full article content in the Detailed Content section.
- If other unions follow your news feed and you'd like them to see this post, enable Include in Global News Feed.
- Click Distribution to choose who receives this post. You have three options: all users, a specific segment, or a manual selection of members.
- Click Confirm once your distribution selection is made.
- Check the progress bar on the left to make sure nothing is missing.
- When everything is ready, click Publish.
| ℹ️ Note: Articles with a grey dot are in Draft status. You can preview a draft before publishing by clicking Save as Draft first, then using the preview option. |
| 💡 Tip: Use the Actions menu on any existing article to return to it, edit it, or publish it at any time. |
